This tutorial series helped me get into scripting and taught me quite a bit of the basics.

It has 4 videos explaining the following..
Setup
Add-Ons, ServerCmds, Blahrivles
Blahrivles, Strings
Strings, ServerCmds, Clients, Players

It isn't the best tutorial but like I said it helped me.
